Guide Prices
Web Site Setup
Giving
your business or organisation an Internet presence need not cost a great
deal. As a guide price for a first web site, we suggest a budget
of approximately
£750 for the registration of a name, the provision of web space,
the design of the site and initial marketing. The actual cost could
be more or less than this, depending on your requirements.
A basic web site could comprise a Home Page, pages to describe your business and the products and services you supply, together with an Enquiry Form to encourage customer contact
If you have specific requirements for your site, we will be happy to discuss the options open to you. Please contact us for further information.
In addition to the setup of the pages and graphics creation, the cost includes email configuration and training where required, six months of web marketing and reporting and guidance on your site's promotion.
Thereafter, ongoing costs involve the provision of commercial quality web server resources and domain name renewal fees at a total cost of £127.50+VAT per annum.

Actinic eCommerce
The cost of providing eCommerce includes both a software licence at £379.00+VAT, together with any development required. The development process deals with the customisation of the shopping cart software and the setup of the goods you wish to sell.
The total cost would depend on the amount of customisation required and the number of products you wished to include in the shop.
As a guide, we suggest a budget of £1,500 to £2,000 for the creation of a new site that is eCommerce enabled. The cost will be influenced by a number of factors including the number of different products you feature in your online shop and the amount of customisation required to the Actinic software to create the "look & feel" you require.
After implementation, including configuration, customisation and shop product setup, you have the choice of simply handling the processing of orders, or taking over the shop maintenance yourself.
Different Payment Service Provider (PSP) packages are available for different trading profiles and volumes - most involve a regular fee, together with a percentage of throughput. Some offer protection against fraudulent transactions, at additional cost.
