Web Marketing
OakRidge Internet provides web marketing services, also know as search engine optimisation, that help ensure a prominent listing on the Internet Search Engines and a flow of focused traffic - i.e. people arriving at a site looking for the goods and services it provides.
The Marketing Process
This
process involves identifying keywords and phrases that potential customers
will use when looking for clients' products and services on the search
engines. After initial keyword and phrase selection, we use a bureau service
to identify related words and phrases that have actually been keyed in
live searches over the previous 8 weeks.
Web pages are then tuned to include this content in the different page elements - some seen on the page and others held in the underlying code - and then the optimised pages are submitted to the the engines for indexing.
We
use Google Sitemaps to inform Google's crawler about your pages which ensures that your site's content can be fully and correctly processed.
Each month we provide a monthly report that show how your site is ranking, together with changes in placement over the month. Information on competitors' sites and details of movements on the search engines over time are also listed. These pages are loaded to a private area on clients' web space and password protected.
Example Reports
To see an example of these reports, how they are delivered, and the position that OakRidge Internet has achieved using this process, use the link below with an account or login name of oakridge and a password of internet to access our ranking information. We have designed our site specifically for people looking for the words "web", "design" and "wirral", which is how you probably got here !
You will see in the examples that positions can go down as well as up, which illustrates why maintaining a prominent search engine ranking is an ongoing process.
Use the account shown above and click here to access the example reports.
Implementing a web site without proper search engine optimisation and marketing will almost certainly mean that business opportunities are lost, simply because potential customers will not be able to find the web site.
Existing Sites
Sites that have not been designed with search engines in mind can be re-worked to take advantage of the extra traffic that this process inevitably brings - contact us for further information.
